Day Ten: Your favorite lyric

This individual line singlehandedly got me through the most time-demanding, emotionally-draining semester of college I’ll ever endure. Going into the second semster of my sophomore year of college every single architecture student knows that we are in for many sleepless nights while trying to complete our first ever competition project. To put it into perspective, we were expected to design a 100,000+ square foot building from scratch with various drawings strategically placed on a display board and two models to scale in about five weeks time, all while trying to stay on top of additional classwork from other classes. The very first day of this project I created a new background for my laptop that had this lyric. It was the first thing I would see when I would turn my laptop on to start working, it was what I saw when I would minimize my project when I wanted nothing to do with it anymore, and it was the last thing I would see when I would shut my laptop down for a few hours when I’d go to take a nap before going back to work. Seeing the lyric everyday gave me strength to keep going when I didn’t think I could anymore.

Hands down this song contains the greatest bridge lyrics ever written. It’s pretty much what every person needs to hear in their lives. The song is moving.

Most of the songs on this EP are really good. Fun melodies and touching lyrics.

Unaware is also a favorite because I think it’s a powerful song.
